Bedroom basic

Your bed should occupy only a quarter of your room. This is to allow you to move around and have enough space to still feel comfortable. If your bed is dominating your room, I suggest you shift a smaller size.
Be generous when it comes to pillows. Make sure that you enough to support your head and an extra. You also need to make sure that the quality is good. If after spending on a pillow and you are still not comfortable, that is the time when you look for a replacement of your mattress.
You can build your own headboard if you can't see the kind that would perfectly match your taste. Just make sure that you have enough bed sheets so that you can achieve the kind of look that you want for your room and then some. I would suggest that you look through different furniture magazines to find the kind of headboard that you want made.
